Every Time on the Clock

Choose a time to see the clock, how to say it, the mistakes to avoid, and a game built around it.

Why every time has a page

Some times cause more trouble than others. Almost nobody struggles with 3:00, but 2:50 fools plenty of children into saying 3:50. Each page spells out what's tricky about that exact time, so you can look up the one your child just got wrong.

Questions

Why are there 144 pages?

Twelve hours with twelve five-minute steps in each. For single minutes, use the to-the-minute level.

Is the telling time game really free?

Yes. The whole game plays free in your browser, with no signup, no ads and no time limit. An iPhone app is on the way with offline play, a forest trail and a parent view, but the web game stays free.

Coming soon to iPhone

We're building a Clockwood app with what needs a real app: every time read aloud, offline play, and a parent view of which times have stuck and which are still tricky. The full game stays free here on the web.
